1. The New Orleans Workers’ Center for Racial Justice is dedicated to organizing workers across race and industry to build the power and participation of workers and communities. NOWCRJ organizes day laborers, guest workers, and homeless residents to build a movement for dignity and rights in the post-Katrina landscape.
2. The Transformative Studies Institute fosters interdisciplinary research that will bridge multidisciplinary theory with activism in order to encourage community involvement that will attempt to alleviate social problems.
3. For the past 40 years, Community Change has engaged in antiracist organizing in the metropolitan Boston area. Throughout its existence, Community Change has maintained a clear focus on systemic racism in its social justice advocacy, educational programs, and antiracist training.
4. Equality Florida is a statewide education and advocacy organization dedicated to eliminating discrimination based on sexual orientation, race, gender and class. The organization reaches over 50,000 Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Supportive (GLBTS) households in Florida, making it one of largest civil rights groups working at the state level.
5. 89 Racial Equity Resources for Healthcare, Education, and Communities is a compilation of resources relating to the inequitable solutions for poor communities and people of color. This resource list contains data, scholarly articles, resources specific to the healthcare field and resources for higher education.
